Hmm… I think that, for the type of videos presented, it’s more appropriate for them to compile and present them from Cornell’s main website. Many of these videos are of interest primarily to the Cornell community. Also, to use an external service to store videos would seem less professional than what they have done.
I’m really pleased with the way that Cornell’s website development team has created guidelines and pages that give Cornell such a strong web presence. I think Cornell has one of the coolest websites of any university (although nothing really tops MIT’s OpenCourseWare, that I know of). It’s an especially nice touch that you can download these videos in m4v format.
