More on Dan Pirfo

Posted in General by Cornell's Most Infamous on April 27th, 2005.

I am trying to organize a team of students to search for Dan Pirfo ‘08. I want to have a team help search the Gorges, North Campus, Beebe Lake and anywhere else we deem necessary…the Cornell police force is very limited with resources and the students best know the insides and outs of our campus.

If there’s anyone interested, please contact me asap (rdb29). We want to organize this for tomorrow morning early on. If you email me back, I will let all interested know with the time and so forth.

The Ithaca Journal reported today that Dan’s father’s cousin has offered a $25,000 reward for anyone with information that would lead to Dan’s return, “no questions asked”.

Where is Dan Pirfo?

Posted in General by Cornell's Most Infamous on April 26th, 2005.

Dan Pirfo, a cornell freshman, has gone missing. After being absend since early Sunday morning, a full manhunt is underway. Apparently Dan left, saying he was going to a party, never to return. Police and students are scouring the area. Here are some vitals that might help identify him:

Last Seen: Mews Hall
Height: 5′8″
Weight: 165 lbs
Race: Caucasian
Dress: Black shirt, Khakis

Dan Pirfo

If you have any information, contact the CU police at 255-1111 or call 911. See Find Dan Pirfo and the Cornell Daily Sun for more information. Personally, my bets are on suicide, given his depressive “favorite quote” on the facebook:

Its only after we’ve lost everything that we are free to do anything. Death smiles at us all. All a man can do is smile back.

Another possibility is a hoax–an adult gone less than two days doesn’t seem out of the ordinary to me. Perhaps he left for NYC for a little bit!

Fake ID’s Confiscated

Posted in Life at Cornell by Cornell's Most Infamous on April 17th, 2005.

Apparently Collegetown Liquor is confiscating any Fake IDs it encounters:

Fake IDs

Technically, aren’t these other people’s property, though? I wonder how they tell real from fake, or fake from borrowed. Update: I just deleted 936 comments from random high school kids trying to find places to buy fake IDs, and I’m closing comments on this post. If you want to buy a fake ID, I suggest instead moving to a European country, or China, where you can party to your heart’s content at any age.
